Public Ownership Colonial period Mixed-use
This large building originally occupied three storeys. The ground floor retains a large porch with several shops. Wherever visible, the frieze has stucco mouldings. The first floor has a large terrace with MS railings. It is accessed through a number of flat lintel doorways, flanked by bulky cylindrical pilasters. The doorways have unique semi domed stucco chajjas with geometric moulding patterns. These chajjas are crowned by kalash like mouldings. The upper floor originally had a terracewith a decorative indented profile, but has now been rebuilt. It has a large court with a U-shaped barsati . Though mostly of new construction, this floor retains several stucco chajjas with ornamental profiles. The storeys above are all new constructions
