Public Ownership Colonial period Mixed-use
This is an impressive art-deco building occupying three storeys. The ground floor has several shops with large lintel openings. These are flanked by stocky cylindrical pilasters. The frieze has several human figures in rich relief sitting alongside ventilators. The upper,storeys have large balconies with curved corners. They have simple masonry railings with stucco mouldings and cylindrical columns. The balconies sit on either side of a central stairwell and are faced with a typical stucco lattice work with bas-relief edge bands. The central part is topped with a pavilion the crown of which has a flat roof and several lantern style windows with human figures
