Private Ownership Colonial period Residence
This distinctive structure is in the art deco style and occupies two storeys. The ground floor has a number of lintel doorways with multiple timber panels with MS grill ventilators. It also retains an older pointed arch entrance flanked by simple pilasters. The arch has a moulded & wreathed edge, and has a peacock at the apex. The spandrels contain sunmoon medallions and are framed with a blank architrave band. The cornice has geometric bands. The upper storey has a number of balconies with stucco lattice railings and stucco slab chajjas with ornamental edging. They are accessed by simple timber panel doorways and flanking windows with MS rod grills. Some balconies retain cylindrical columns. The parapet has a simple stucco lattice railing. The facade has moulded cornices in stucco with geometric motifs. These motifs can also be seen on the friezes. There is a tall central facade which extends above the parapet. It has a stucco lattice panel, crowned by a stucco moulding
