A typical colonial structure, this building is noticeable for its relatively intact upper storeys. Much of the decoration is in stucco, especially the latticed balcony railings and the jali eaves. The parapet has an interesting banded pattern with medallion like jalis and mouldings. The posts of the balconies are in masonry and stucco, with a round profile. Some of the original semicircular arched doorways with fanlights are still visible. The structure presumably had a street arcade, that has now been encroached on and subdivided into a number of commercial concerns.
