Description
Private Trust Ownership Colonial period Temple
This large temple has several shrines and entrances, including a large sandstone entrance. This entrance has a semicircular arched doorway set in the recessed scallop of a semicircular archway. The timber door has metal ornamentation and is flanked by small niches. The recessed arch has an elliptical ornament at the apex. The outer arch has a moulded edge and is supported on multiple pilasters. The spandrel has decorative medallions. Much of the temple has now been refaced in marble?
