Adilabad
The fort of Adilabad located to the south of Tughluqabad, was built by Muhammad bin Tughluq (A.D. 1325-51) after whom it is also known as Muhammadabad, and probably built after ]ahanpanah. Architecturally, it resembles the Tughluqabad Fort. The walls of the embankment connecting it with T ughluqabad are carried over the hills as the outer walls of the city and are provided with two gates. Inside are the remains of citadel consisting of walls, bastions and gates.
